A chance to have creative (and sometimes messy) fun! The sessions are designed to enable all students to learn to use the potter’s wheel; to learn about making practical pots, as well as sculptural pieces. There will be full access to colours and glazes. Suitable for secondary school-age pupils.

Tutor: Fiona Sandover

Fiona is a very experienced teacher of ceramics. She has taught in this field for more than 25 years to all ages and levels of ability. Her pottery practice continues to grow and she has her own fully equipped pottery studio. The sessions that she runs are noted for their relaxed atmosphere and fun projects. The pottery studio at the West End Centre is a lovely space and is well equipped. Attendees will be given access and tutoring to use the potters’ wheels. They will also be shown techniques both sculptural and functional. Everyone who attends is enabled to express their own creativity as well as be supported in tutor-led projects.

Tickets: £13 / £11.70 concessions per session
