A sociable group, where you can come and sew in company and get sewing advice from Westy tutor Ginny Farquhar.
Drop in anytime between 10:30am to 12:30pm and stay as long as you like - our popular monthly sewing session uses our own Janome sewing machines in the Creative Studio on a Thursday morning once a month. Bring your own projects to work on, if you are a complete beginner Ginny can introduce you to simple stitching on our Janome sewing machines or you can help make drain bags or heart cushions to donate to your local hospital.
Enjoy having some time to yourself with this opportunity to relax, have a catch-up over a cuppa and work on your own projects with technical support and advice.
What you need: Please bring your own project to work on, sewing machines are available to use. Donations of clean cotton fabrics are always welcomed!
