Join us for a Little Day Out at Monument Field, Aldershot. We’ve got activities for all ages, including interactive storytelling with Tribe Alternative Stage School, musical play time at The Musication Station and even a bit of a kick about with Hampshire FA. And it’s all free!

Bring a blanket and a picnic and make a proper day of it!

**This event will be taking place at the field near the Wellington Statue, otherwise known as Monument Field

Fluid Motion Theatre Company presents Take Ten

Take Ten is a performance installation designed to slow us down. It’s a space to be present, in the here and now, to reflect and to notice.

Audiences can take a moment on our bespoke and colourful swing chairs, guided by a soundtrack that encourages them to sit comfortably, swing gently and breathe deeply.

All Fools present The Glitter Pickers

Meet the glitzy girls who are determined to declutter your misplaced waste. Join them for a boogie as they spruce up the space and get the party started. Get ready – they’re about to gatecrash your trash!

The Glitter Pickers is a walkabout comedy act in which two roaming performers interact with audiences, collect litter, and bring a party atmosphere to Aldershot!

Suitable for: All ages (small children must be accompanied by an adult)

Times: 11.15am, 12.30pm, 2.15pm

Tribe Alternative Stage School presents StoryTribe

Interactive storytelling to feed a hungry imagination!

Join StoryTribe’s intrepid storytellers to warm up your imaginations, play games, share ideas and create the greatest story NEVER told all together. This is an interactive storytelling performance with both the option to just watch and listen or to get involved in creating the story and characters with us.

Bring yourselves, a willingness to get silly and your (even if you don’t know it yet) spectacular imaginations.

At Little Day Out we’ll have an information stand (Youth Network promotion, Hampshire FA community events promotion, information about local football providers etc) plus these activities:

The Musication Station (Anvil Arts)

The Musication Station invites everyone to pick up an instrument and discover their creativity. We are a drop-in music project from Anvil Arts, which provides a range of acoustic instruments for people of all ages and abilities to try. Staffed by professional musicians, participants are supported in their exploration and learning. So come and have a go!
