Laurence Jones is preparing to release the most personal project of his career.
His first-ever solo acoustic album, On My Own, arrives January 23, 2026, marking a major shift in direction for the UK artist. The record comes after what Jones has described as the most difficult year of his life, battling Crohn’s disease. On My Own strips things back to the roots of his artistry, blending raw storytelling with traditional blues influences. “I found a way to keep going by going solo,” Jones said. “Writing about my struggles and my blues, this is almost a rebrand, something new, just me and my acoustic guitar. It’s intimate, heartfelt and takes me back to where it all began”
