Move your body. Boost your mood. Dance like nobody’s watching. Keep moving and keep fit to inspiring music!

This session will explore dance fitness and strength training with some light resistance and dance toning tracks. Barre work for lower body strength and a stretch and flow routine will conclude the session, leaving you energised for the rest of the day!

This session includes a hot drink of your choice in the café bar area after the class to socialise and connect with others.

What you need: Participants should wear comfortable clothes they can move in and bring a water bottle. 

Tutor: Rachael James 

Rachael has danced since a young age, training in a variety of dance styles including Contemporary, Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Modern, Disco and Rock ‘n’ Roll. She graduated with a BA (Hons) Dance in Society Degree from the University of Surrey and has a PGCE in Dance. Rachael was Head of Performing Arts at The Sixth Form College Farnborough from 1997- 2007 and introduced A Level Dance successfully to the College. Rachael is now a Community Dance Practitioner, sharing her love of Dance with the community. She teaches all ages from Early Years to Seniors and promotes Dance for health and wellbeing. Her classes are inclusive for all and she enjoys sharing her passion and love for dance with the community. 

 

Dates: Wednesdays | 7th January to 11th February (6 sessions) and 25th February - 25th March (5 sessions)

Time: 10:30am - 11:30am

Course Fee: £40.00 / £36.00 concession for 6 weeks Jan-Feb, £35.00 / £31.50 concession for 5 weeks Feb-Mar
