Royal Academy of Dance, Pre-Primary Ballet Syllabus
Movement, music, and magic in our curriculum for children aged 3–4 years. The children will begin to learn the ballet basic positions such as 1st position, and steps such as skipping, jumping and galloping. These are lively but structured classes that develop children’s physical skills and encourage creativity, expression, and musicality. And, behind all the fun, they’ll be prepared for a transition to ballet and other dance genres at higher levels.
Ballet helps children develop their confidence with performance, music, fine motor skills and problem solving whilst having fun learning.
