+ EMERSON
Emerson are a four piece group from Fleet, Hampshire. Playing jubilant, 60s inspired indie rock, the group consists of lead singer and guitarist, George Atkin, guitarist, Alex Groom, bassist, Will Lynch and drummer, Matt Cairns.
With a major influence from 60s and 70s pop music, a focus on songcraft, and a sound reminiscent of indie bands of the noughties; Emerson present a nostalgic, while refreshing sound, that’s slowly but surely been swooning audiences across the country the past year.
The release of their esteemed debut EP, ‘Good Man’ - gaining commendation from the likes of Issey Cartlidge of The Molotovs - and a handful of propitious support slots (Stone, FEET & Beddy Rays) set Emerson in good stead for a prosperous year to come.
