West End Centre is open! Please read on for details of how we are open.

We’re pleased to be open again and this is just the beginning. We did not stop working during lockdown, offering online classes and sharing ideas and inspiration through Culture on Call. Now, as well as our classes and workshops, we are hosting fantastic live music, comedy, theatre and other events in our friendly, creative and safe environment, both on and offline. Read a personal message from our Artistic Director, Bridget Floyer

Staying Safe

To help keep everyone safe, we’ve made some changes at West End Centre. We have introduced a number of measures in line with government guidelines to help manage our visitor numbers and ensure we maintain social distancing to protect you, our staff and volunteers. Please read on for information about booking your visit and what to expect when you are with us.

What we are doing to help reduce the spread of COVID-19

  • Giving you a warm welcome at a safe distance
  • Opening  for pre-booked, ticketed activities and events only
  • Using signage to help you maintain social distance
  • Asking for cashless payment wherever possible
  • Providing hand sanitiser for you to use
  • Reducing capacities for activities and events

If you have any concerns or questions during your visit, please talk to a member of our team – they will be happy to help you.

You can find out answers to some commonly asked questions in our reopening and coronavirus information and FAQs.

Opening times

We are open for customers who have pre-booked for classes, workshops and live events only. Our standard venue opening times are:

Monday to Friday: 10am – 6pm

Thursday and Saturday: from 7pm

Sunday: Closed

If an evening performance or event is in progress, West End Centre will not close at 10:00pm. However, customers will not be able to consume food or drink on the premises after that time.

Social distancing and hygiene

During your visit, we ask that you follow our guidelines on social distancing and hygiene to help keep us all safe. Hand sanitiser stations are positioned at entrances to the building and in classrooms. We ask that all customers over the age of 11 wear a face covering at all times whilst in the building. If you are visiting our bar, please continue to wear your face covering unless you are seated at a table.

Toilet facilities

Our toilet facilities will be open to class, workshop and event customers only. Two people at any one time in Gents and Ladies, one person plus carer in Disabled.

Bar

The bar will be open for ticketholders only from 7pm on Thursday and Saturday. We are operating table service so upon arrival please find a table and our team will take your order. We advise arriving well before your gig starts to ensure you are served in time.

Please note, drink cannot be consumed at the centre after 10:00pm.

Risk assessment

In accordance with government guidelines, we have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment to make our sites COVID secure and identify risk control measures.

We're good to go

Good to go

The Visit Britain We’re Good to Go symbol shows that West End Centre has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and that we have processes in place to help keep everyone safe.
