This term, after 12 weeks of rehearsal, the fruits of your labour results in a show that you can invite all of your family and friends to watch. Youth Theatre is a space to build our confidence and resilience! West End Centre is and always has been, a safe environment in which to test things out, examine situations and strengthen your sense of identity. Role play techniques and team building games achieve this better than any other activity. Bekki has a whole load of games, drama exercises and activities designed to help establish trust, unlock creativity, build confidence and have fun doing so!
For ages 8 - 12 years.
Tutor: Bekki Budd
Bekki has a BA (Hons) and MA (Hons) in English Literature, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Education and has taught arts and humanities extensively at the secondary and undergraduate levels. Bekki trained as an actor and director in the Brendan Smith Academy of Acting, in her native Dublin, before moving to England in the late 1980s. She then became involved in the acting troupes and theatre groups associated with the West End Centre and started teaching her very first youth drama class here when she was nineteen years old.
