Wor

Almost 300 years ago, some musicians from around Antwerp, Brussels, Gent and Leuven decided to write down their favourite music. As time passed, however, the paper turned yellow, the ink began to fade, and the music itself was left to gather dust along with the faded manuscripts …

That is, until now! Back for a second album, WÖR are again injecting fresh energy into the old traditional melodies of their region, fuelled by saxophones, bagpipes, accordion, guitar and violin.

Celebrate the music of Belgium, by enjoying a complimentary bottle of Belgium Beer (all alternative soft drink) with every ticket you buy!

In the words of producer Esko Järvela (Frigg): “WÖR are bursting with fresh thoughts and joyful sounds. These are five ambitious and enthusiastic musicians who have a clear vision of the essence of traditional Belgian music - five adorable rascals with a fearless approach and a strong grasp on what they do together as a band. They are constantly looking for new ways to explore the music, without forgetting their roots. WÖR are crisp and dynamic, full of excitement. WÖR are powerful.”
