Saturday 9 November 10:30am - 2:30pm
Design and make a beautiful Silver and Semi-Precious stone beaded bracelet that you can leave wearing or give as a gift! You will be introduced to silver wire wrapping using a selection of pliers to form a strong but delicate multi-link bracelet that you can customise with your choice of coloured stone beads. The Tutor will help you build on the skills you learn over the day, helping you refine your technique so you leave with a beautiful finished piece. A set amount of Silver wire and a selection of Semi-Precious stone beads are supplied with the cost of the course. There will be a 20 minute break for lunch so please bring some food with you.
Tutor: Alex Twin
Alex is a practising Silver jeweller who now runs her own business after spending the last 9 years working within the jewellery industry. She worked for Links of London for many years as their engraver but now loves working from her own bench in her shed! (It's a very nice shed).
She likes nothing more than making jewellery from scratch and wants to spread the joy of just how satisfying hitting silver with hammers and soldering with gas torches can be - the possibilities are endless!
