Westival 2020

Westival is the highlight of the year at the Westy. A huge indoor festival bursting out of a Victorian building in Aldershot, including multiple stages, a beer tent and fields (yes actual grass fields!). For well over 10 years it has been a distillation of everything that makes the Westy award-winning, unique...and a bit silly.

This year Westival is back in a different guise as it goes on…line! For one day, Saturday 18 July from 2.30pm – 9.30pm, we invite you to join us in recreating the festival atmosphere at home with all the best bits: great music, brilliant comedy, family activities and a sense of community. And you can even buy the t-shirt...check out the merchandise here!

Westival is free this year but you can donate to support Westival and West End Centre’s work with the local community if you are able to. You can find more information and ways to donate on our donation page.

Keep an eye out for more details about what to expect and how to access our favourite indoor festival. It’s true, it really never rains on Westival!

First acts announced...

Music from Westy faves Matro Rancho, New Orlean's style pianist Dom Pipkin, local country duo Jonas and Jane and Senegalese Kora player Diabel Cissokhu.

Plus, comedy show Werewolf: Live hosted by Jon Gracey featuring seven fantastic comedians.

With all that and more to be announced, it's set to be a great day.

The fun doesn’t stop there…

Westy and Forward 4 Wiz Trust faves, Parachute for Gordo will be hosting a kicking afterparty for this year's legendary Westival with DJ Mark Glaister and DJ Clumsy live from across the pond in Berlin. Join in for free from 9.30pm till late via mixcloud.com. Plug your device into your stereo and crank up the tunes!
