It's 2021 and our much-loved Westival is BACK!
This year, we're not just online, we're also in venue with a limited number of spaces at the Westy for a lucky band of gig-goers who register to be in with a chance of securing tickets. Expect great music, brilliant comedy, fun, laughter and (a small touch of) grass. As an in-venue gig goer, what's even more exciting is that you'll also be treated to some secret surprises! It's true, it never does rain on Westival. So far on the cracking line up...
Live from the Westy
Reggae/ska/soul headline headliner Captain Accident, six-piece Our Family Dog who are "a mindful alternative interpretation to an indie genre that is ever-growing and swelling." (Dusty Studio Productions)
Music from Westy favourites: rock legend Jamie Lenman, blissful acoustic sounds from Clive Carrol and Bolt Ruin, who brings dark electronic music that fuses the energy of hardcore punk with the delicacy of classcial music. Plus comedy songs from Britain's Got Talent star Jess Robinson!
Event: Saturday 24 July, 7pm (doors 6pm)
Tickets: £20 per person in-venue. Registration is now closed.
We can't wait for Westival 2021 at Hampshire Cultural Trust's West End Centre, Aldershot now!
How WESTIVAL will work this year
Audience numbers: We’re keeping audience numbers in the venue restricted at Westival this year to ensure everyone still feels comfortable and safe visiting us, especially as for some it may be your first gig in a while. There will be no limit on tickets sold online - book online here.
About the programme: As this year’s event is online and in-venue, the programme will vary slightly depending on how you’re watching. Our in-venue audiences will get to watch all 'Live from the Westy' acts in person and some, but not all, online content. A recording of the online stream will be available to all ticket holders for 48 hours after the event.
About the ticket prices: In-venue tickets are £20 per person and will be allocated at random to a small number of registrations - registration is now closed.
We’re making the online version of our Summer Westival 'Pay What You Decide' this year, because we know that everyone’s situation is different and for many the last year has been tough. If you'd like to watch Westival online and that’s you, please have a free ticket on us. If you’d like to pay for your ticket, we’d like to ask you to consider our usual ticket prices and how many people will be watching - book online here.
As a rough guide:
£0 - have a free ticket on us
£10 - equivalent to our usual price for watching a regular gig online, or a usual single afternoon session price for one person
£20 - equivalent to an in-venue ticket to Westival 2021, or a usual single evening session price for one person
£40 - equivalent to two people attending Westival 2021 in-venue
£80 - equivalent to four people attending Westival 2021 in-venue
£140 - equivalent to two people attending a full Westival weekend in 2019
Registration process - In venue registration is now closed.
Only one registration per person will be accepted - any duplicates will be discarded - and four tickets maximum per registration. By registering for an in-venue Westival 2021 ticket(s) you are agreeing to the registration terms. In-venue ticket allocations will be picked at random and notified via the email address provided after Sunday 20 June. Those allocated an in-venue ticket(s) will pay £20 per ticket and payment will need to be taken over the phone or in venue at the box office prior to the event. Any in-venue ticket(s) not redeemed by the date confirmed in the allocation email will be re-allocated. Those not allocated an in-venue ticket(s) will also be notified via email after Sunday 20 June and given the chance to be added to the waiting list and/or directed back to the booking page to book online ticket(s).
