Tankus the Henge have built their reputation on unforgettable song writing, spectacular live performances and relentless hard work, playing hundreds of shows across Europe and building a devoted fan base along the way.

Their funk-fuelled repertoire is wildly eclectic, ranging from New Orleans inspired swing to heavy rock riffs, and since their beginnings in the ratty alleyways of London’s Soho, the band has evolved into a wild groove machine.

Musically inspired by bands from the British invasion of the 60s and artists such as Tom Waits, Blur, Randy Newman and Queens of the Stone Age, and with lyrics influenced by 20th Century American Literature, specifically the Beat Generation and Gonzo journalism, Tankus the Henge defy categorisation. Their hair-raising show, like no other, has to be seen and heard to be believed. Like a psychedelic, rock n roll octopus –only with four more legs.

With support from The Bobonboboffs

The Bobonboboffs are a five-piece original ska/punk band from Southampton, UK. Originally just a two piece of Tim Brown (vocals) and Frankie Duarte (guitar), the band grew over time attaining the souths drummer of the year 2016, Curtis Allen and well-accomplished trombone player, Jacob Smallwood. After a number of bass players they were finally joined by local musician Timothy Beckett. After a stint of playing shows around the UK and releasing two previous singles (Go, Gadget, Go and March), The Bobonboboffs grew themselves a strong local (and not-so-local) following of fans and 2020 proved to be a step up for The Bobs. Selling out local venues and recording in the prestigious Sunrise Studios, they are set to release a slew of new tracks for our listening pleasure. The Bobonboboffs are certainly a band to keep both eyes and ears on!
