Silver Jewellery Summer 19 (Fri)

Silver Jewellery Friday 26 April - 12 July 10.30am - 12.30pm (no class 31 May 31)

Be introduced to piercing (sawing) and soldering, the two must haves for the creation of jewellery. From there you build your skills to include planning and designing what you want to make starting with a ring and a pendant from the supplied silver.

After the first six weeks the students can plan and make their own designs, be they necklaces, bracelets, bangles or earrings - and the tutor will guide you throughout. There will be demonstrations of new techniques each week so you will build on the skills you learn from one lesson to the next.

A set amount of silver is supplied with the cost of the course (to cover the first six weeks), but students will need to buy more over the duration of the course and will be directed to a supplier with a 10% discount.
