This course is suitable for students who already know how to solder and pierce and want to get back into making lovely things, either for yourself or as a gift. It will allow students to dust off those jewellery making skills and rediscover the joy of working in silver.

The feeling of wearing something you've created, or giving it as a gift knowing you made it - that's really hard to beat. Making Jewellery is creatively challenging and a fun activity to try. The possibilities are endless!

What you will need: A small kit of silver will be supplied with a few inspirational ideas to let everyone learn together, but work individually on their own ideas. You can bring along an existing project or start something new and incorporate your own materials.

Tutor: Alex Twin

Alex is a practising silver jeweller who has spent the last 10 years working within the jewellery industry. She worked for Links of London for many years as their engraver but now loves working from her own bench in her shed! (It's a very nice shed).
