Using simple paint techniques, old magazines and discarded papers, learn the relaxing process of rolling paper into a variety of bead shapes and create your own unique upcycled jewellery.
A fun, relaxing and a great way to upcycle old papers and magazines!
Suitable for all levels.
What you need: Clothes you don't mind getting messy in, and any old papers, or magazines you may want to use (materials for the workshop will be provided).
Tutor: Ginny Farquhar
Ginny is an experienced community craft and sewing tutor. She is inspired by nature and adopts many sustainable art practices in her work, from using plant dyes and inks to upcycling paper for collage and jewellery. She believes in the therapeutic power of making and believes we are all creative!
