We are all creative and artistic to some degree. This course will show you how to re-open that door to your creative self in a relaxed environment where you will meet other creative minds like yourself, from the safety of your own home.
Find inspiration from other artists and learn how to develop your ideas from sketch to finished paintings through in class exercises and projects. Discover how different techniques work, paying special attention to the control of the tools, colour mixing and composition.
If you are already an established artist this could be a great opportunity to network and talk to other artists, plus a very good way to challenge what you already know and develop it further.
This six week course will focus on painting interiors and still life around you (your own living room, a corner in the kitchen...) during lockdown. It will be about re-discovering those spaces in an artistic way.
What you need: paper, two days acrylic/ink (or black acrylic), two days gouache/ink (or black gouache) and two days watercolour/ink. (or black watercolour). Note – you can use the different media proposed above on different days, stick to what you prefer or use what you have at home.
