Emerging from their triumphant sets at Reading & Leeds Festival in 2019 on the BBC Introducing Stage, Leeds based 4-piece alt-rock band The Loose Cut’s single Demons created such social media activity that it found itself included on Spotify’s “Hot New Bands” playlist.

The prestigious festival slots were followed up by a UK tour including a sold-out home town show at Oporto in Leeds. 2020 was theirs for the taking, and then the World stopped still!

"West Yorkshire’s alternative to Kings of Leon” – Chris Hawkins, BBC 6Music

During the 2020 lockdown period, the band decided to release end of set crowd favourite ‘Haunt’ as the next single, and despite not being able to get out on the road to promote it, the song received airplay and high praise from BBC 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins, calling the track “a real anthem”, as well as being picked up on by Planet Rock presenter Wyatt Wendels who also played the tune on his show.

Latest release Resist is the band’s most ambitious piece yet in terms of the scale of the project, seeing the band performing alongside a string duo, a grand piano and pedal steel player.

“…these guys dish out a gritty blues-fuelled indie-rock vibe that’s not a million miles away from the cooler side of Kings Of Leon.” – Phil Weller, Bang the Drum Magazine

With support from Mouser

Born from the ashes of two Rushmoor bands, Mouser is the sound of three people old enough to know

better, but still just about young enough to not care what anyone thinks. Fast power-pop with a 90’s

alternative vibe and a splash of surf, mixed with catchy choruses, vocal harmonies and bitter cynicism.

And The Mustard

The Mustard band was founded in 2021 - five piece band formed of talented professional musicians. The Mustard have recently released their debut album Stranger Times, written in memory of times past, creating a touch of witty class and inspiration for better times to come. From Original Music, to a uniquely select classic cover songs, the live act is both powerful and inspirational, with smooth ambiences running through the unique sounds of The Mustard Band UK.
