2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the first-ever Hecklers Comedy Club at the Westy, and what a comedic season it's set to be!

Join us for a night of laughs with a fantastic comedy line-up, including:

Paul F Taylor:

Paul F TaylorAward-winning Paul F Taylor is one of the UK's most exciting and distinctive stand-up performers. His unique brand of humour fuses quirky, offbeat one-liners with surreal, observational flights of fancy to fantastical effect.

Nominated as NATY New Act Of The Year for 2013 and GQ Magazine's comedian of the week, Paul's persona of a lost, bewildered fool sits perfectly alongside his gleefully madcap ideas.

"Relentlessly daft absurdism"

The List

"An enticing, dizzying prospect, who whips through a welter of daft, Harry Hill-like ideas and diversions, and chucks characters around with the agility of the Pyjama Men."

The Independent

Paul Savage:

Paul SavageAfter having made his comedy debut in 2007, Paul Savage has established himself as a stalwart of the UK comedy scene. In his years on the circuit, he has just about covered the entire country, as well as making time for a tour of English-speaking venues in Norway, Denmark and Sweden. This year, he has taken his seventh solo hour to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where previous shows have garnered both critical and audience approval.

Further to his obvious skills in stand-up comedy, Paul is also an accomplished cartoonist with three published collections to his name: Contrived Setups To Niche Pop Culture References, Due To A Clerical Error In Reality and his latest publication, But Doctor, I AM a collection of comic strips by Paul Savage.

"Genuinely brilliant. Writes a good joke, draws a good cartoon: an all-round hoot."

The Guardian

Ted Hill:

Ted HillBorn and raised in Aylesbury (via Wolverhampton), Cambridge alumnus Ted Hill delivers unashamedly silly, high-energy, multimedia stand-up with a disarming, warm and charming demeanour.

Having ADHD himself, Ted knows how to grab any audience’s attention and once he’s got it, he holds it using any and all means at his disposal – with assorted visual aids, flipcharts and overhead projectors, coupled with quick-paced delivery of jokes which come thick and fast.

His material takes complex and detailed topics and breaks them down in an elaborately childish way, in what he describes as “taking silliness very seriously”.

"An audience favourite"

Chortle

"Ted sits in the aspirational intersection of silly comedy and clever comedy. If he weren't so likeable, I'd hate him."

Bec Hill

Hosted by Rich Wilson:

Rich WilsonRich Wilson is not just one of the UK's finest comedians, but popularly regarded as the best MC by many top comedians such as Frank Skinner, Richard Herring and Sarah Millican.

He has been winning over audiences in seconds at all the major UK comedy clubs for a number of years with his effortless, natural charm, as well performing sell-out shows at many international major comedy festivals including the Perth Fringe, Melbourne International and Edinburgh Fringe. He is also a firm favourite at the New Zealand Comedy Festival.

With his stylish delivery, Rich has the unique ability to be able to tame the toughest audiences in the country with his commanding presence and impeccable timing.

"Highly entertaining"
