2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the first-ever Hecklers Comedy Club at the Westy, and what a comedic season it's set to be!

Ben norris Ben Norris is a highly experienced and hugely well-respected stand-up and is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise, as well as deliver sharply crafted material.

 His career started here at the Westy in 1993, with a momentum that has never slowed down, or is showing any signs that it is likely to.

 He has written and performed three highly acclaimed solo shows at The Edinburgh Festival: ‘Sitting room only’ (1997), ’Mr Ambiguousness’ (2013), and ‘Benny on the loose’ (2014)

 Ben has toured the UK supporting Ed Byrne, and appeared at the prestigious Hammersmith Apollo.

 TV credits include Mock the Week, The Comedy Store, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and They Think it’s All Over.

 

Joe Wells Award Winning Joe Wells made his name as a political comedian with critically acclaimed Fringe shows including 'Night Of The Living Tories', '10 Things I Hate About UKIP' and 'I Hope I Die Before I Start   Voting  Conservative', in recent years he has moved into more personal material about mental health and being autistic.

  Joe is a favourite amongst other comedians and has supported Frankie Boyle, Alexei Sayle and Stephen K Amos.

  In 2020 Joe went viral with his stand up clip 'Joe Wells on having a non-autistic brother' which gained over 1.3 million views across Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

 

Martin Graham Since starting out in 2017 Martin Graham has made a considerable impact on the circuit and the Edinburgh Festival. He has also played in exotic places such as Los Angeles and Reading.

 A finalist in the prestigious So You Think You're Funny competition has made him a must see act.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Russell

 MC: Russell Arathoon started out with his first ever gig at the notorious King Gong at the Manchester Comedy Store. He went on to win it and then followed it up later that same year with a groundbreaking   semi final appearance in the Manchester Comedian of the Year Competition.

  Now residing in London, Russell is regularly popping up at all of the prestigious clubs, as well as sharing the stage with acts such as Joe Lycett, Sean Walsh and the chatty man himself Alan Carr.

  In 2018 Russell made his Edinburgh Fringe debut with his critically acclaimed show ‘The Curious Incidents Of The Gay In The Night Time’. Since then he has gone on to perform at festivals all over the country    including Leicester, Nottingham, Manchester & Brighton. He even appeared on the Glee Cardiff Pride Stage alongside Robert White in 2019.
