Hecklers Comedy Club is here on Thursday 14 Novmber with...

Andrew Lawrence

One of Britain’s most subversive and intelligent comedians, Andrew Lawrence, has been lauded with many awards and nominations for his comedy including winning The BBC New Comedy Award, and being twice nominated for The Fosters Edinburgh Comedy Award, and is now a regular name at The Edinburgh Fringe, having currently written no less than 13 shows for the festival. On television he has appeared on Live at The Apollo, The Michael McIntyre Comedy Roadshow, Dave’s One Night Stand and as a regular on Stand Up For The Week. The BBC have also since commissioned Andrew to record his fourth BBC Radio 4 series, There Is No Escape.

“You owe it to yourself to see him.”    The Mirror

“Superbly intelligent, highly articulate and deeply sour.”   The Spector

Kevin Precious

Kevin Precious has had something of a long and varied career in the business of show, starting out in his native Hull as a musician, venturing South and experimented with a highly successful pop quiz, then finally settling on stand up comedy as his preferred stage medium. A first rate observationalist with a degree in sarcasm, Kevin never fails to hit the funny button with every audience that’s fortunate enough to be in the room as he strolls onto the stage with his natural trade mark friendly and engaging, yet cheeky persona.

"If he were any more laid back he'd fall over - we fell over laughing."    Evening Standard

“Instantly recognizable stage presence and boundless wit”    Leicester Mercury

Njambi McGrath

Njambi McGrath is a Kenyan born, UK based comedian and author. Since her debut in 2010, she was voted 1 of 5 top up and coming female comedians by Fabulous magazine barely 14 months later. She has twice been shortlisted for the BBC Radio New Comedy Awards. She has a wealth of radio credits for the BBC and other international stations, French TV, Bloomberg Africa TV, and Nigerian TV. She has written and performed 4 Edinburgh shows to high critical acclaim.

“A must see” The Scotsman

“Trail blazing” The Guardian

Hosted by John Mann

This constantly in demand comedian, John Mann is one of the recent success stories on the UK comedy Circuit. John's charm and warmth belie the fact that most of his material deals with winter sports for pensioners, lavatories and spontaneous acts of retail vandalism. His approach to school days, bath time and footwear is unsurpassed. A unique observer of the mundane, John is sometimes rude, frequently silly, but never ever dull.

“One of the funniest people I know”  Phill Jupitus
