Meditation is good for everyone including children. It helps with focus, sleep, learning and general enjoyment of life. Meditation is a lovely thing to do as a family. You'll start with a few warm up sensory games to focus your senses, followed by one short seated meditation and one lying down.
Please bring a yoga mat, blanket and pillow for each person.

Barbara is a visual artist and meditation tutor. She has been practising meditation for 10 years and teaching for 6. She is very experienced in helping a variety of people accessing mindfulness meditation and enjoying meditating in a group. Her style of meditation is informed by a variety of influences: wellbeing, spirituality and especially neuroscience. Both as an artist and meditator, she is interested in understanding how our brain works. She is always trying to learn and experience new things from her students and environments. She has run meditation sessions and art sessions in libraries, art galleries and lecture theatres.
