5Ts Brass return this October to perform 'Hugo and the Haunted House', an interactive concert for families suitable for children of all ages. Join them to share this new work in the form of a story in words, music and pictures. Suitable for all children especially preschool and primary - there will be interesting tunes to hear and exciting sounds to experience.
5Ts Brass are very pleased to return to the West End Centre to perform a special children's concert. Presented by early years/primary music specialist Len Tyler the concert will include a full story about Hugo and the creatures he meets in a haunted house. The story is told in music and narrative and will enthrall and entertain children of all ages. There will be instrument demonstrations (including a conch trumpet) and instruments for all as the audience joins with the brass quintet to rehearse and perform a special item.
5Ts Brass Quintet comprises of: John Sayer (Trumpet & Flugel Horn), Alison Croxon (Trumpet & Flugel Horn), Stephen Kerry (Alto Trombone), Dave Robson (Tenor Trombone) and Len Tyler (Tuba). The concert will be presented by music director Len Tyler who is no stranger to working with children as he worked as an early years/primary music educator for many years and now trains teachers in this area of education. 'Music sessions should be fun, not a torture' is one of his sayings, so this concert will be educational and informative but also good fun.
