Learn Ballet, get fit and make new friends along your personal journey in the world of Ballet. Suitable for absolute beginners and adults returning to dance after being learnt from childhood.
With levelling degrees on difficulty based on individuals needs and abilities. Ballet technique is great to help improve balance, co-ordination, muscle tone and posture, whilst enjoying a mixture of classical ballet music and recognisable modern music adapted for ballet class.
What to Wear - Clothes that are sports-wear appropriate, example; T-shirts and leggings/joggers/shorts or if you want to wear ballet attire, leotard, ballet tights, ballet skirts, ballet shoes it is more than welcomed. Ideal footwear: ballet shoes, alternative option: barefoot or socks. If appropriate hair needs to be tied up and off face.
Tutor: Ghislaine Ruhomutally
Ghislaine trained with the Royal Academy of Dance for her ballet qualifications. She has taught in Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey and Central London for over 10 years, for both local studios, secondary and primary schools and multiple premium studios in Central London catering to all ages, children to adults. Her classes are about having fun, learning something new and making new friendships through dance.
