Frequently asked questions

How can I book?

We can take telephone bookings by credit/debit card, or in person by credit/debit card, cash or cheque (made payable to Hampshire County Council). Please note we make a small 50p charge for credit/debit cards bookings but will post the tickets to you for free if requested. Our box office is open from 10am to 9pm Monday to Friday, answer-phone at other times. The Centre is closed on Sundays except on event nights.

Do you have concessionary priced tickets?

We offer concessionary tickets for many events. Unless otherwise stated, these are available to children under 16, those in full-time education and those in receipt of state benefits including pensioners. Proof of entitlement may be asked for.

Do you have a bar?

We have a fully licensed bar open from 7pm which hosts free events some weekday nights. We have a range of board games available most nights from behind the bar (subject to availability) the selection is changed regularly (supported by The Games Shop Aldershot)

Do you allow smoking?

The centre now operates a no smoking policy at all our events, although smoking is still permitted in the courtyard until 9pm.

What is your access like for wheelchairs?

We welcome disabled visitors. There is level access to the theatre, bar, gallery and workshop areas. We have spaces allocated for wheelchair uses who wish to come to the theatre independently and there are free seats available for a companion at seated events. We have an accessible lavatory.

How do I get there

Can I get there by train or bus?

We are a 10 minute walk from Aldershot Train station. Local buses call nearby (bus numbers 4, 4A, 5, 5A).

Where do I park?

We have a free car park for patrons, situated behind the building, Access is via William Farthing Close, left off Queens Road, just before you reach the building.

Do you hire out rooms?

If you are planning an arts related event, we have a range of facilities available for hire at competitive rates. Call us on 01252 408040 for details.

How do I get a gig?

If you would like your band to be considered for a gig , send your demo to The Promoter, West End Centre, Queens Road, Aldershot Hampshire GU11 3JD. We will circulate it among our promoters who will contact you if you are successful.

How can I get involved?
